3rd Quarter Reflection

The area that I think I made the biggest improvement was my vocabulary test and my blogs. First off, I my grades on my test are totally improving. I only got a two on one test and a two on another (these are for certain standards). I like coming to school on Friday not scared that I have to take one of these test. I study long, hard, and use lots of repetition when I study, that is my strategy. When I go to school I am always excited to take the test and am always ready. I really hope that my scores improve even more. That is the area I have made the most improvement.

Now my blogs, I could say that they have really improved since August. How I do it is that I look at it the second to last day that it is due. I make sure that I closely read the direction and I make a draft. Then the day that it is due. I make revisions to whatever I did and then turn it in. I do well because I try to have fun with the blog. It may not be the funnest thing to do, but if you think positively as you do it, you will do well and get the grade you deserve. Once I had that mindset you will do good. That is how my blogs have improved since August and is the ares I have made the most improvement, including the vocabulary tests.

Something that accomplished that I am was the argumentative essay. I did it in the second quarter, but was assessed on it this quarter. That project was the most stressful one that I have ever done so far and it just exhausted me every night I had to do it. Some arts were easy and some parts were challenging. For me, there were more challenging parts to it then easy. I did the best that I could and I didn't really get the grade I want. i got five threes and four twos. I took the inactive and revised it and got all threes. I am just glad it is over and I feel that I deserved the grade I got.

The most challenging part of third quarter was doing the poetry blogs. The reason that this was challenging for me was because sometimes the blogs were boring or little challenging. Sometimes we had to learn a whole new type of poetry that was different from the other poetry we were learning and we had to make one so we can attach it to the blog. The blogs about the bronx book weren't all that challenging, but I think making the other poems for the blog was most challenging. I just tried my best and tried to think as positive as possible so I can be motivated to do it and finish it. I never did all that bad.
